How long does it take to gain access to the new portal?

After you submit the account request form, our team typically takes 1 business days to verify your information and send you the access credentials..

Is there a tutorial on how to use the new portal?

Yes, we’ve included a brief video on this page that walks you through the features of the new portal and how to navigate it.

How is the new portal different from the old quoting tool?

The new portal offers enhanced functionality, including product information,  order placement, and an easier-to-navigate interface. It also includes features for account management, where you can access your pricing and order history.

1. The first step is to open the Samuel Pressure Vessel Group portal site and click Sign in/Register

4. To access the portal, you'll receive a 6-digit login code via email. Simply input this Code when prompted.

6. Once logged in, you'll be directed to your dashboard. Here, you can view and manage orders made within the portal.

7. On the individual order page, you can see the order status, view a summary, and have the option to quickly re-order the same items.

8. To start ordering, click Go to store located in the top right corner of the page.

9. The process begins by clicking the "Vessels" option in the menu or by clicking "Request A Quote" in the banner.

10. You can use the filters on the left-hand side to locate your desired tank

11. Alternatively, you can scroll down from the home page to the "Search By" selector. From here, you can select the Orientation, Capacity, and PSI of the tank you are interested in.

12. If you already know the part number of the tank, you have the option to search directly by "Part Number" to quickly find the specific tank you need.

17. After applying your filters, you'll be taken to a page displaying all the tanks that fit your criteria. You can continue refining your search by adding more filters or select a specific tank from the list.

18. Instead of navigating into each product page, you can click on the "Tank Specification" option on the product card to see all the key details. This allows you to review important information without entering the full product page.

19. Once you're on the product page, you can begin customizing your tank's exterior and interior features. As you make changes, note that the price will adjust accordingly.

21. After finishing your tank configurations, you have two options:
1. Add to Cart: Click "Add to Cart" to proceed with requesting a Purchase Order (PO) for your customized tank. This will send your order for processing.

22. 2. Request a Quote: If you need further customizations, click "Request Quote" to add additional details and customizations for your tank. This allows you to request a detailed quote based on your specific requirements.

23. Underneath each tank, you have the option to add matching attachments to your cart. Simply click "View Details" for more information on each attachment before adding it to your order.

24. Once you've completed your selections and are ready to proceed, scroll up and click on the icon labeled "Cart" to continue with the checkout process.

25. On the cart page, you can make additional changes such as adjusting the quantity of your order.

26. You can proceed in 2 ways: continue to checkout to finalize your purchase, or share your cart with your team for collaboration or approval. For details on sharing your cart, see the "Share Cart" tutorial in the FAQ

27. On the final page, you can verify your order information. Since you are logged in, all of your details will be pre-filled. The only remaining step is to select your desired Shipping Method from the dropdown menu.

28. Once everything looks good, Scroll down and click Confirm order

29. After submitting your order, you'll receive an email confirmation that it's been sent for processing. Note this isn't a final order; if accepted, you'll receive a formal quote. From there, we'll proceed as you normally do with quotes and purchases.

What is the Tool Trial Program?

The Tool Trial Program allows you to try out tools for a 21-day period before deciding if you want to keep them. If you decide to return the tool, simply follow our easy return process within the trial period to avoid additional charges.

How do I qualify for the Tool Trial Program?

All customers are eligible to participate in the Tool Trial Program. Simply select the "Trial" option when purchasing eligible tools from our online store.

How long can I keep the tool during the trial period?

You can keep the tool for 21 days from the date of delivery. If you decide not to keep it, the tool must be returned within this period.

What happens if I don’t return the tool within 21 days?

If the tool is not returned within 21 days, your payment method will be automatically charged the full price of the tool. Additionally, if the tool is returned late, a 20% restocking fee will be applied.

Will I be charged anything upfront?

Yes, your payment method will be pre-authorized for the full price of the tool at the time of purchase. This amount will be released once the tool is returned in good condition within the 21-day trial period.

How do I return a tool after the trial period?

To return the tool, access the return portal using your order number and email or phone number. Follow the instructions to complete the return form, print the return label and slip, and ship the tool back to us.

Can I extend the trial period?

No, the trial period is fixed at 21 days. If you need more time to evaluate the tool, we recommend purchasing it outright.
